The movie is not a bad place to start, because it is actually pretty truthful about Oscar's relationship with Bosie (Lord Alfred Douglass). Rather than portraying them as the perfect couple, it shows Bosie in all his snotty, spoiled glory.

And also you should read The Picture of Dorian Grey, which is the gayest book ever that doesn't actually have any buttsecks in it, and The Secret Life of Oscar Wilde (which totally wasn't secretive at all...) was a fantastic book about all his sexcapades. Who said history wasn't fun?
